For many years the Castle Tea Room was known as the finest restaurant in Lawrence. Many individuals and social groups enjoyed a festive afternoon Luncheons that included a simple yet tasty entree, a drink, and a light dessert.
The Castle has teamed up with Dianna's Kitchen to offer the opportunity to have a luncheon experience in the splendor of the recently renovated Castle. Menu choices will be reminiscent of those offered during the hey day of the Castle Tea Room in the 1950's and 1960's. The luncheon will include a brief history presentation and the opportunity to explore the magnificent rooms of the Castle.
We have held several Luncheons in the past few months, and guests have commented:
"It was great to be in the Castle again, it is more magnificent than I remember. The lunch was perfect!"
"My friends and I really enjoyed the Luncheon and Tour of the Castle. In fact they are still raving about it!
